We need your feedback - Beta version of New CEAL website now available!

The Library Technology Committee is pleased to announce that a beta version of NEW CEAL website is now available to the CEAL community for feedback. Here is the URL to the beta site: It is built in WordPress, one of popular content management systems for contemporary websites. Below are some of the highlights of the beta site:
  • Clean layout – A drop-down navigation bar is created with top-rated links according to the CEAL website survey we conducted last year.
  • Responsive and consistent design – The beta site can work well on a variety of devices (desktop, tablet, phone, etc.) and window or screen sizes. All webpages have visual consistency in design.
  • More visual elements – The homepage includes a wide image slider to feature CEAL news. There are also photos of CEAL members and activities across the website.
  • One place for annual meeting programs – A centralized section for annual meetings is created for all plenary and committee program schedules and presentation slides.
Please note that the beta site only includes important and updated content for CEAL, and annual meeting programs and presentations from 2018 on. All the historical content (2017 and prior years) are still kept on the current website. The current site will be archived with a new URL when the beta site becomes the official CEAL website at the beginning of next year (2019).

Our website development team (Anlin Yang, Lucy Gan and myself) would like to express our gratitude to the Executive Board for their generous support of this website redesign project. We would love to hear your feedback about the beta site. Please submit your comments using “Contact Us” form on the bottom right of the beta site or email Tang Li ( directly through the end of this year.

  1. The good thing about the conference and convention center available online is that they are equipped with modern facilities. There are special facilities that are available for your presentation or if you have any special requirements.

  2. Asking questions are actually fastidious thing if you are not understanding anything fully, however this piece of writing offers nice understanding yet.
